HERMAN ENGELBERG
RIDGEVILLE — Herman Engelberg, 71, died Sunday in a Charleston hospital.
   The funeral will be 3 p.m. Monday at the graveside, K.K. Beth Elohim Cemetery, Charleston, directed by Dyal Funeral Home, Summerville.
   Mr. Engelberg was born March 8, 1910, in Charleston, a son of the late Louis Engelberg and Mrs. Sarah M. Engelberg.  He was a member of KKBE Temple and was a Mason and Shriner.  He attended the College of Charleston, was a retired rural mail carrier and was owner of Engelberg Furniture Co.
   Surviving are:  his widow, Mrs. Queenie A. Engelberg of Ridgeville, two stepsons, Richard Minus of St. George and John D. Anderson Jr. of Ridgeville; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Frances Harley of St. George, Mrs. Laura DeMarse of Columbia and Mrs. Belinda A. Hill of Ridgeville; two sisters, Miss Meyeral Engelberg of Ridgeville and Mrs. C.F. Strickland of Neptune Beach, Fla.; 14 grandchildren.
