2.  1830 Census Index/Images (online at Ancestry.com, Image #33 of 120 — list was roughly alphabetized; extracted by Diana Gale Matthiesen):
1830 VA [now WV] Ohio Co. Roll 198 p. 213 Ln. 17 Echols Thomas 001 010 - 110 010 000 100 no slaves
These data indicate:
No. & Sex  Age Class Therefore Born Individuals Inferred
1 male 10-14 1815-1820 = ?
1 male 20-29 1800-1810 = Thomas
1 female 4 or under 1825-1830 = Daughter
1 female 5-9 1820-1825 = ?
1 female 20-29 1800-1810 = Mary (b. 1809)
1 female 70-79 1750-1760 = ?
The two older children were born before Thomas & Mary married, so there's obviously more here than just the nuclear family.  It's hard to say who the elderly woman is because both of Thomas's and Mary's parents are living and enumerated separately, unless I've mis-identified Thomas's parents, which is a possibility.  The only other ECHOLS indexed in Ohio County were Thomas's presumed father, Abraham ECHOLS, and presumbed brother, Henry ECHOLS.

The IT guys on the big iron hated the Personal Computer because it gave users freedom and power; now they've conned you into being back under their control.
