Valentine's age could be either 37 or 57; it really isn't clearly either one.  In the 1850 Census, Janette's birthplace is given as Germany.  Francis STAHL may be kin or just hired help.  Janette DIDDLEBAUGH is a niece of the elder Janette and granddaughter of Jacob, who is the elder Janette's father.
