The question here is whether the Ludwig Cupp in the 1790 and 1800 censuses of Bedford/Somerset Co. was the one married to Johanne or the one married to Elizabeth — or whether they were the same man, who had two different wives (or whether Johanne and Elizabeth were one and the same person). |
