Said to have a daughter, Lorene/Lorain/Jurie CULP, b. 27 Feb 1845, who married Benjamin BROBST (b. 21 Jan 1842), but no such daughter appears in the 1850 census with our subjects, and it is Leah (b. 1825-30) who married Benjamin BROBST.  The census giving a child born 1844/5 is very clear, and it is definitely a son, Uriah.

Said also to have these children:
.  Lorain Jurie CULP
.  Sarah Pauline CULP, who married Nelson H. BUNN

1820 OH Pickaway Co. Salt Creek Twp. p. 14 Ln. 12 Henery Culp 100100-00100-0-100
These data indicate:
No. & Sex  Age Class Therefore Born Individuals Inferred
1 male 9 or under 1810-1820 = Lewis (b. 1820)
1 male 19-25* 1794-1801 = Henry (b. 1793)
1 female 16-25 1794-1804 = Sarah (b. 1803)
1 person engaged in agriculture
*In the 1820 Census, the third column is age class 16-18 and the fourth column is age class 16-25; therefore, any individual in column three is duplicated in column four.  By subtracting the number in column three from the number in column four, you can create an age class "19-25."
Henry is off one age class, but there can be no doubt these are our subjects.  Listed one line above Sarah's father, Jacob "Shangler" (121001-00010-0-200).

1830 OH Pickaway Co. Madison Twp. p. 65 Ln. 17 Henry Culp 111 010 - 100 010
These data indicate:

1 male 5-9 1820-1825 = Amos (b. 1824/5)
1 male 10-14 1815-1820 = Lewis (b. 1820)
1 male 20-29 1800-1810 = Henry (b. 1793)
1 female 4 or under 1825-1830 = Leah
1 female 20-29 1800-1810 = Sarah (b. 1803)
Henry is in the wrong age class, but surely these are our subjects.

5.  1850 Census Index/Images (online at Ancestry.com; Image #9 of 22 — in addition to Henry, Levi is also indexed, and so is little Joseph, as "Joseph McCulp"):  Madison Twp., Pickaway Co., OH, p. 39A, 487/495, enumerated 23 Aug 1850, official enumeration date 1 Jun 1850 (extracted by Diana Gale Matthiesen):•
Henry Culp 57 M   Farming 15,300 Pa
Sarah    " 43 F       "
Levi      " 24 M   Labg   "
Cynthia A " 18 F       O
Mahala    " 16 F       "
Catharine " 14 F       "
Naomi     "  9 F       "
Uriah S   "  5 M       "
Harriet Cromley 19 F       "
Joseph M Culp 3/12 M       "
Levi was born in OH, not PA.  Harriet is their daughter, who married to George CRUMLEY less than a year ago — what is she doing back home?  Levi is back home after having twice been married and twice widowed; little Joseph is his son.
