PETER CORBIN of Danbury, Conn.; b. 1733; m. Abigail Benedict of Simsbury, Nov. 18, 1756, at Danbury.  He and his wife were received into the church at Winchester, June 30, 1776.  He moved from Danbury to Winchester with his sons Daniel and Peter, Jr., in 1774.  He removed to Colebrook in 1805, and spent his remaining days with his son Peter.

He was captain of the first company of the Alarm Regt. of Connecticut in 1780.  Assessed at Winchester, 1783, for £56 16s., and Peter, Jr., at £21.  He d. March 20, 1805, in Colebrook, Conn.

      i.   DANIEL, b. Oct 1, 1757, at Danbury; m. Mabel Everitt, May 30, 1776; d. at Colebrook, 1809.
      ii.   PETER, Jr., b. Aug. 6, 1762.

      iv.   LUCY, b. Jan. 20, 1770; m. _____ Jennings of Coventry, N.Y., in 1806.

      vi.   ESTHER, b. Jan. 3, 1776, at Winchester; m. Zeri Hoyt, 1797; moved from Winchester in 1803, perhaps to Locke, N.Y., as several members of the Hoyt family went to that place.
