John CORBIN
Mary TAPP
WARNING:  there's a lot to be verified here.  The marriage seems secure, though some challenge whether the year was transcribed correctly.  The connection to son, Vincent, appears secure based on 1850 census record (see below).
Husband:  John CORBIN
Birth:  1765-70/75, VA
Death:  10 Sep 1838, Anderson Co., KY
Father:  Martin CORBIN
Mother:  Milla/Millah __?__
Marriage:  16 Jan 1799, Fauquier Co., VA
Wife:  Mary "Molly" TAPP
Birth:  1778/9, VA
Death:  13 Jun 1863, Sullivan Co., IN
Father (disputed):  Vincent TAPP
Mother:  Mary "Molly/Polly" JETT
Children:
Vincent CORBIN, b. 19 Nov 1799

[James] Berryman CORBIN, b. 6 Dec 1801
.  Benjamin CORBIN, b. ca. 1804; died in infancy
.  Alexander CORBIN, b. 6 Feb 1806
.  Elizabeth CORBIN, b. 15 May 1808, Jessamine Co., KY; d. 12 Feb 1872, Sullivan Co., IN

— born in KY:
Martin CORBIN, b. 1810/1
.  Narcissa CORBIN, b. ca. 1814; m. Jeremiah LEWIS
.  Sarah CORBIN, b.
.  Eliza CORBIN, b. 1817/8, KY

Of the sons attributed to them by secondary sources, these two are not given by (Corbin 2009:34), nor is there room for them in the 1810 census:
Harris CORBIN, b. 1800
Mason CORBIN, b. ca. 1804

If Benjamin married in 1819 — and it appears he did — he had to have been born earlier than 1808, more like ca. 1795.
Benjamin CORBIN, b. 1808; m. 24 Sep 1819, Fauquier Co., VA, Sarah PRESTON
Our subjects had left VA for KY by 1810, so if Benjamin was born in VA, this further argues against Benjamin being their son.

5 persons engaged in agriculture
*In the 1820 Census, the third column is age class 16-18 and the fourth column is age class 16-25, which means any individual in column three is duplicated in column four.  So, for an accurate representation of the household, the number in column three should be subtracted from the number in column four. If, after the subtraction, any individuals remain in column four, then they have to be age 19-25, thus creating a "new," more precise age class.
