Archibald Cockrell sold to John Cockrell 370 acres of land in Nash County to John Cockrell for $450. 1820 sep 7, Nash County, NC. Brother of Vincent; Deed to John Cockrell. In 1820, Archibald was residing in Nash County, N.C. age 16-26, with one female 16-26, and two males under 10, in 1830, he was in Greene County, Ala, age 30-40, one male 15-20, one 10-15, one 5-10, and one under 5; one female 30-40, and one under 5. He was living near his brothers Nathan and John and his cousin William H. In 1840, he was in Pickens Couunty, Alabama, age 50-60, one male 15-20, one 10-15, and one 5-10, one female 40-50, one 10-15, and one 5-10.
