Sd land is part of a tract patented 6 Apr 1765 to Michael Christman, Senr, who died intestate. Wit: Daniel Boyer and George Gulliman. Prvd in Jan 1787 1788 [sic] by oath of Daniel Boyer. Michael Christman, Junr, and wf Elizabeth (X) to Andrew Gruse, for £110, 223-1/2 A on the north side of Dutch Buffalo Cr adj the [Rowan] county line to the north, Peter Sigman to the west, Henry Long to the south, and other lands of Christman to the east. Sd land is part of a tract patented 6 Apr 1765 by George III to Michael Christman, Senr, who died intestate and the land descended to the grantor, his eldest son. Wit: Daniel Bogger and George Christman. Prvd in Jan 1788 Ct by oath of Daniel Bogger. Same Martin, CMC.
