In both the 1850 and 1860 censuses, Samuel gives his birthplace as New Hampshire.  In all my work on SIAS, I have never run across a Nicholas, but surely, this is a mis-reading of "Archelaus."  There were only two SIAS families in the 1810 census of Danville with daughters in Harriet's age class:  Archelaus & Mary (GLINES) SIAS and Samuel & Sarah (CHAMBERLIN) SIAS, so Archelaus & Mary must be her parents.
