The image was blurry and the handwriting was difficult.  Even knowing what the names should be, they were hard to decipher.  I honestly can't tell whether their surname is spelled with one "r" or two or whether the vowels are "a" or "o."  It's hard to fault the indexer, who had no idea what the names should have been.  If it hadn't been for Osma's unusual given name, I never would have found them. Nazaire was indexed "Varnie Rhoane." Josephine was indexed "Saphine Mallin." Alolphe was indexed "Adolphe Charran." Osma was indexed "Osma Charran." Marie was indexed "Main Charran." This enumerator appears to have given the wives their maiden names. "menuisier" = carpenter
