John BROWN
Sarah __?__
WARNING:  This page has been put together based partly on circumstantial evidence.  Please pay attention as to which data do or do not have primary documentation.
Husband:  John [J. or Leeper] BROWN
Birth:  1824/5, Knox Co., TN
Occupation:  farmer
Brother:  Gideon Leeper BROWN, b. 25 Jun 1821, Knox Co., TN; d. 7 May 1904; m. 14 Jun 1842, Andrew Co., MO, Ann BLAKELY (1823-1906)
Uncle:  Gideon Leeper BROWN, b. 1800, Knox Co., TN; d. 29 Oct 1858, Platte Co., MO; m. Matilda PATTON
Father:  John BROWN (1797-1842) — Felix Kennedy/Canady/Canada2, William1 of Edinburgh, Midlothian, SCT
Mother:  Elizabeth [Ann] "Betsy" SAMPLE (1796-1886) of PA — Samuel2, William1

There is a source in the Public Member Trees at Ancestry.com that takes our subject's father back on this line:
Father:  John BROWN (1797-1842) — Felix Kennedy/Canady/Canada12, William11, William10, Alexander9, James8, James7, John6, Henry5, Anthony4, Thomas3, Robert2, Anthony1 of Bechworth, Surry, ENG
But I am immediately dubious when I see a lineage going back this far, especially to an illustrious ancestor, unless it's well documented.  Please do not accept this line without thorough documentation.

There's no such name as, "Stelsey," so I have no idea what it should have been.  Addie was indexed "Stenerson."
