The "b" indicates the birth date of a child as an indication that the marriage took place before this time.  The locations are known residences of the husband, ending with the husband's place of death.  An entry in Torrey does not imply a marriage in New England; it only demonstrates the presence of a married couple there before 1700.  Torrey is a compilation of published sources, not primary records, so he should be considered a secondary source.

*JABEZ, Sudbury 1667, prob. s. of Thomas of Concord, freem. 1680; by w. Hannah had Mary, b. 26 Nov. 1672; and Sarah, 20 May 1680; was of Stow, rep. under the new chart. 1692.
"Probably" is not proof, and please note:  Savage is a secondary source.  He gives no citations, whatsoever, which is one reason the volumes contain so many errors.  For example, Sarah was the daughter of Jabez's second wife, Dorothy, not his first wife, Hannah, which would have been immediately evident if Savage had documented his work.
