Sources:

1.  William Davis Miller.  "Dr Joseph Torrey and his Record Book of Marriages." — and article/chapter in a larger book apparently compiled/published by the Rhode Island Historical Society (online at FamilySearch.org).  The way the LDS is presenting the page images of this book, you can't get to the title page of the book.  In the index to the images, it says they were married in South Kingston (i.e., "this Town").
p. 146 Beriah Brown Junr of Exeter and Amy Shearman of this Town were Lawfully Married Mar. 8, 1764.

Rhode Island Death and Burials, 1802-1950 (online at familysearch.org):  The LDS no longer allows viewing of original record images, unless you go to an LDS Family History Center or an affiliated library.  What a colossal step backwards for researchers.  I live ten miles from the nearest FHC, and it's a small one only open a few hours a week.  The online extract says Beriah died on 14 Jul 1819, not 13 Jul 1819.

"The Cloud" is double-speak for "dumb terminal on a main frame." Been there; done that. Never again.

The IT guys on the big iron hated the Personal Computer because it gave users freedom and power; now they've conned you into being back under their control.
