I just don't find a Howard BYRNE in the censuses as born in PA. Was it his mother who was born in PA (see below)? If so, these may be his parents:
Father: Frank J. BYRNE, b. 1873/4, NY
Mother: Wilhelmina "Minnie" __?__, b. 1876/7, PA

Marriage: 30 Aug 1928, Port Chester, Westchester Co., NY
This marriage date cannot be correct because, in the 1930 census, Margaret is still unmarried and living with her father (q.v.). Also, if I've uncovered the correct Howard, he is living with his widowed and remarried mother.

2. 1910 Census Every-Name-Index/Images (online at Ancestry.com): can't find Howard, at least not for certain. There is a Howard BYRNE (æ 3, b. NY/NY/PA) who is living in Manhattan (Ward 22), NY (p. 202A), with his parents, Frank J. BYRNE (æ 36, b. NY/NY/ILR) & Wilhemina (æ 33, b. PA/DEU/DEU), plus siblings.

3. 1920 Census Every-Name-Index/Images (online at Ancestry.com): can't find Howard, at least not for certain. The same Howard BYRNE (æ 13, b. NY/NY/PA) is still living in Manhattan, NY (pp. 242A-242B), now with his widowed mother, Minnie BYRNE (æ 43, b. PA/DEU/DEU), plus siblings. Margaret CORBIN (æ 9, b. NY/BB/IRL) is living in Brooklyn, NY, with her parents (q.v.).

4. 1930 Census Every-Name-Index/Images (online at Ancestry.com): can't find Howard, at least not for certain. The same Howard BYRNE (æ 23, b. NY/NY/PA) is living in Brooklyn, NY (p. 161A), with his remarried mother, Minnie VIRGELES (æ 53, b. PA/Wuert/Wuert), and unmarried sister, plus his stepfather and stepsiblings.Can't find Minnie, either. Margaret CORBIN (æ 19, b. NY) is unmarried and living in Brookyn, NY, with her widowed father (q.v.).
