The 1880 census lists Candacy Bryan as a daughter of Sarah Stokes Bryan.  I believe that Candacy is actually Miranda Cunningham Bryan (Miranda C.), wife of Samuel David Bryan, making her a daughter-in-law of Sarah Stokes Bryan.

Samuel David Bryan and Miranda Cunningham were married March 1880. I know everyone lists Candacy in their genealogy reports and she is only 15 at the time - seemingly too young for marriage, but if you look closely at the census report (which I missed many times), the box to signify marital status is marked for both Samuel and Candacy.
