I can find no Ada*/Ida* BRIDGE in the 1850 census, anywhere, but I do find a seven-year-old Ada SIGLER in Decatur Twp., Mifflin Co., PA, only child of Johnston SIGLER (æ 32) and wife Hannah. In the 1860 census, Ada is not living with Johnson & Hannah, so have Henry & Catharine adopted her? Both families are prosperous, but Henry much more so. Or has the enumerator simply erred in giving Adaline surname BRIDGE?
