10.  Messages posted to the BLUNT Surname Board (online at Ancestry.com), including one erroneously making our subject the son of Henry & Regina (KRUM) BLUNT.

11.  Email from Nathan BLUNT (27 Mar 2014):
The child of Henry and Regina (Krum) Blunt was born, according to baptismal records, in 1788.  It would have been customary to name another child by the same name if the previous died however that was not the case.  The older one did not die and went on to marry.  I don't have a record of a John Martin Blunt being born in 1811 but perhaps he is the child of John Martin Blunt b. 1788.  That would put his age at around 23 yrs... certainly possible.
