Some secondary sources show our subject born in 1744/5, but the 1830 census clearly indicates the 1763 date is the correct one.

The census records suggest that Sally died between 1800 and 1810 and that Elisha remarried by 1820. Or was the absence of a wife in 1810 enumerator error?
