14.  1870 Census Index/Images (online at Genealogy.com, Image #8 of 28):  Fredericksburg P.O., Fredricksburg Pct., Washington Co., KY, Roll 502 (Book 1), p. 283B, PN 8, 50/50, enumerated 17 Aug 1870, official enumeration date 1 Jun 1870 (extracted by Diana Gale Matthiesen):
Blanford Thomas R 70 M W Farmer 3000 1115 Kentucky
Edward 26 M W Farmer    150 "
Andrew J 23 M W Farmer    150 "
Spalding Francis 20 F W Keeping house     "
Josephine E 19 F W Without occupation     "
Charley  5 M W       "
Camorn Richard 39 M W Farm Laborer     "
Nearly all the ages are off.  Francis (sic) SPALDING is our subject's widowed daughter, Frances (BLANDFORD) SPALDING, and Charley SPALDING is her son.  "Francis" is not Josephine's husband.  Josephine should have been surnamed BLANFORD, not SPALDING, and should have been placed above Frances, even though she is younger than Frances.  The enumerator should have given Charley's relationship to Frances priority over age in ordering the household, but he didn't, hence the subsequent mis-interpretations of the identies of the householders (not to mention his failure to supply Josephine's surname).  Richard is probably surnamed CAMBRON.
