2.  1820 Census Index/Images (online at Ancestry.com, Image #4 of 6; extracted by Diana Gale Matthiesen):-
1820 CT Fairfield Co. New Fairfield Town Roll M33_1 pp. 92-93 Ln. 9 Lewis Beardsley 000100-00100-0-100
These data indicate:
No. & Sex Age Class Therefore Born Individuals Inferred
1 male 19-25* 1794-1801 = Lewis (b. 1798)
1 female 16-25 1794-1804 = Paulina (b. 1801)
1 person engaged in agriculture
*In the 1820 Census, the third column is age class 16-18 and the fourth column is age class 16-25, which means any individual in column three is duplicated in column four.  So, for an accurate representation of the household, the number in column three should be subtracted from the number in column four. If, after the subtraction, any individuals remain in column four, then they have to be age 19-25, thus creating a "new," more precise age class.

3.  1830 Census Index/Images (online at Ancestry.com, Image #13 of 14; extracted by Diana Gale Matthiesen):-
1830 CT Fairfield Co. New Fairfield Roll 6 p. 165/328 Ln. 1 Louis Beardsley 010 001 - 120 010
These data indicate:
No. & Sex Age Class Therefore Born Individuals Inferred
1 male 5-9 1820-1825 = Daniel (b. 1825)
1 male 30-39 1790-1800 = Louis (b. 1798)
1 female 4 or under 1825-1830 = Hulda (b. 1827)
2 females 5-9 1820-1825 = Julia (b. 1823)
= Eliza (b. 1821)
1 female 20-29 1800-1810 = Paulina (b. 1801)
Listed next to Sam T. BARNUM (æ 60-70) and his wife (æ 50-60).  Are these not Paulina's parents?

4.  1840 Census Index/Images (online at Ancestry.com, Image #195 of 374; extracted by Diana Gale Matthiesen):-
1840 CT Fairfield Co. Dist. No. 19 - Town of Sherman Roll 22 pp. 299B-300A/598-599 Ln. 5 Lewis Beardsley 000 100 100 - 021 210 000 0200000
These data indicate:
No. & Sex Age Class Therefore Born Individuals Inferred
1 male 15-19 1820-1825 = Daniel (b. 1825)
1 male 40-49 1790-1800 = Lewis (b. 1798)
2 females 5-9 1830-1835 = Hannah?
= Harriet (b. 1831)
1 female 10-14 1825-1830 = Hulda (b. 1827)
2 females 15-19 1820-1825 = Julia (b. 1823)

1 female 20-29 1810-1820 = Harriet
2 persons employed in agriculture

5.  1850 Census Every-Name-Index/Images (online at Ancestry.com):  can't find anyone, except for the two married daughters, Eliza (BEARDSLEY) WRIGHT and Julia Ann (BEARDSLEY) CORBIN.

6.  WorldConnect / Ancestry World Trees (online at RootsWeb.com/Ancestry.com).  Numerous files there show Lewis as having married a second time, to Harriet BARNUM, in 1883, which is obviously impossible given that our subject died in 1843.  It appears 1883 must be a typo for 1833.
