father was named Anders and that neither Mans nor his father had a surname.
Christopher's surname, MOUNCE is his patronymic (Manse) fixed as a surname.
Please see
this page for a discussion of patronymics. It's important not
to put Andersson in ALL-CAPS because that suggests it's a surname, which
it is not — if it were, Christopher would be surnamed, ANDERSSON.
It's also important, when entering the name in genealogy software, to treat
Andersson as a second given name (i.e., a middle name) and
to leave the surname field blank because, otherwise, a wrong impression
is given.
