Being in my perfect senses, I make this my last will and testament.

To my beloved Betsey A West - after all my just debts are paid, I give Betsey 1 Negro fellow Frank, 2 Negro women, Milla and Fanny, 1 girl, Amey, and 1 Negro boy Martin, forever, as her own actual property, together with all my horses, cows, sheep, and hogs, household and kitchen furniture, plantation utensils, carriage "&c", and a further gift of the tract of land whereon I now live, with the River tract of 175 acres of timbered land, called Revels Old tract, during her lifetime, with a house to be built and paid for out of the crops made before any division takes place. Sd land is to revert back, at her death, and to be equally divided among my children.

To my son Thomas - 1 Negro woman, Sary, and her child, a boy, George.  If that should not be an equal portion of my Negroes, the rest of my children are to make it up to him.  If any over portion, he is to pay it back to the estate with an equal part of 2927 acres of land lying on the north and south side of Little River called Muhlenburg Seminary, to be laid off by Edward Bradshaw and John W Cocke, including the place whereon he now lives.  I want the whole of the 2927 acres to be supported from the timber belonging to sd tract.
