The correct spelling of our subject's given name is Melchior (one of the "Three Wise Men" from Christian mythology).

Some secondary sources say she is Mary Ann WALTMAN; others say she is Mary Ann WALTON.  The only primary source I have found is son William's marriage record (see below), which calls her Mary E.
