If John didn't die until 1786, how can she be getting married in 1783?

2.  Barbara STRUBE, b. PA; m. Mr. LYNN; lived near Millersburg, Dauphin Co., PA

Secondary sources say Jacob was born in 1777, but the censuses say 1765-74.
QUESTION:  is this Jacob the same as Hans Jakob STRUB, meaning he married twice.
