2.  Census Index:  U.S. Selected Counties, 1810 (Broderbund CD-313):  not found, but the 1810 Ohio census was destroyed (except for Washington Co.).  Tax lists are substituted on this CD, and William's father is found in Madison Co., but William is not found in either Ross or Madison Co.  Perhaps our newlyweds are living with the bride's or groom's parents.  There are several THOMAS households in Ross Co., but none in Madison Co.

Looking for information on John STROUP and family.  William STROUP b 1785 in PA Moved to Madison County.  Married Anna THOMAS b 1798, and they had 10 children.  John A STROUP b 7-7-1814 marr. Eliza Jane CLEMMONS b 1816, Joseph STROUP b unkn.(only one of family who stayed in Ohio), Polly (Mary) STROUP b 1-15-1812 marr. Samual EPARD b 1807, Jane STROUP b unkn marr. Issac CLEMMONS b unkn, Rebecca STROUP b 1819 marr. Alexander ROWND b unkn, Anna STROUP born 5-15-1826 marr. Henry DEAL b 6-19-1822, Naomi STROUP b 8-23-1828 marr. Anna was married in 1809 so cannot have been born in 1798.  The censuses indicate she was born 1790-94, which is reasonable.
