The enumerater had a note in the margin next to Lee's record saying, "See L. 73"; there was a note in the margin next to Anna's records saying, "See line 50."  Levi's father, Samuel, had no sister named Anna, so she must be a sister of Levi's mother, which means both of Anna's parents were born in Germany, not just her mother.
