John married Nancy 20 Jun 1895 in
Galion, Crawford, Ohio. Her name was listed as Mrs Nancy A. Lee on the
license the 1900 census said she was the mother of 4 children 2 still living
at that time. They were living at 130 Second Avenue South, Galion, Crawford,
Ohio when the 1900 census was taken. I looked for other records for Nancy
but so far have found none. What i don't understand is Nancy must have lived
most of her life if not all of it in Galion, Ohio But I could find any other
marrage or birth records for her. I also know that on Johns death
certificate he is listed as married. Sometime between 1900 and 1909 John
moved to Morrow County for on his death certificate it listed his place of
residents at time of death as Peru Township, Morrow County, Ohio. Like you
have said before records can be wrong for on Johns death certificate it has
his father Joseph birth place as Scotland. It also did have Nancy Furgison
(how spelled on certificate) has born in New York and Johns birthplace as
New York. The information was supplied by Ira Rasey.

Children with Nancy Ann MARTIN:

William and George appear to be John's children from his prior marriage, so apparently Nancy's two surviving children are grown and gone.

Ira doesn't say step-brother, so George must be John's son, not Nancy's.
