If Hannah truly was born in 1779, then Electa is considerably older than she's letting on.  Actually, it would make much more sense if Hannah was Electa's sister-in-law, not her daughter.

2.  1790 Census Index/Images (online at Ancestry.com; Image #1 of 1; extracted by Diana Gale Matthiesen):¤•
1790 VT Windham Co. Townsend Roll M637_12 p. 24/55/124 Ln. 45 Rasey Asahel 1-4-2-0
These data indicate:
Gender and Type Age Class Therefore Born Individuals Inferred
1 free white males 16 or over in or bef. 1774 = Asahel (b. 1767)
4 free white males 15 or under 1774-1790 = GARNSEY
= GARNSEY
= GARNSEY
= Joseph (b. 1788)
2 free white females all ages in or bef. 1790 = Electa (b. 1767?)
= Hannah GARNSEY (b. 1779)
Asahel and Electa have only been married about two years, so obviously most of the children here came with Electa from her prior marriage to James GARNSEY.  Asahel and Joseph (in Chittenden Co., VT) are the only RASEYs/etc. in the entire 1790 census.

These data indicate:
No. & Sex  Age Class Therefore Born Individuals Inferred

1 female 16-25 1794-1804 = ?
1 female 45 or over in or bef. 1775 = Electa (b. 1767?)
2 persons engaged in agriculture
*In the 1820 Census, the third column is age class 16-18 and the fourth column is age class 16-25, which means any individual in column three is duplicated in column four.  So, for an accurate representation of the household, the number in column three should be subtracted from the number in column four. If, after the subtraction, any individuals remain in column four, then they have to be age 19-25, thus creating a "new," more precise age class.

1830 NY Jay Co. Essex Roll 114 p. 293 Ln. 8 Asahel Razy 000 100 001 - 000 000 001

1 male 60-69 1760-1770 = Asahel (b. 1767)
1 female 60-69 1760-1770 = Electa (b. 1767?)

7.  1840 Census Index/Images (online at Ancestry.com):  not found, but my search was not exhaustive; and, in any case, Electa is likely living with one of her married children.

8.  1850 Census Every-Name-Index/Images (online at Ancestry.com):  not found, but my search was not exhaustive.

9.  Direct Data Capture, compilers.  War of 1812 Service Records.  Provo, UT (from National Archives and Records Administration, Index to the Compiled Miliary Service Records for the Volunteer Soldiers Who Served During the War of 1812, Washington, DC; online at Ancestry.com):
Name: Asahel Rasey
Company: Sanford's Batt'n, New York Militia
Rank - Induction: Corporal
Rank - Discharge: Corporal
Roll Box: 171
Roll Exct: 602
For Asahel to be inducted as a Corporal, rather than as a Private, indicates he had some standing prior to the war, probably from service in the local militia (but he's too young to have fought in the Revolutionary War).
