Sarah JOHNSON Mary Elizabeth GARNETT |
| WARNING: there are several anomalies with this family group sheet, so consider it very tentative. |
| Husband: James Moore RASCO
Birth: 1813/4, Christian Co., KY Death: 1863 Father: William Marcellus RASCO, Jr. Mother: Delilah LINDSAY The secondary sources all have James born in 1821, but the 1850 Census shows he was born in 1813/4, which date makes far more sense because it is extremely unlikely that he married at age 16. Also, if he died in 1863, he cannot be the father of Gordon, born in 1867. |
| Marriage-1: 30 Mar 1837, Christian Co., KY |
| Wife-1: Sarah JOHNSON
Birth: ca. 1818 Father: Samuel JOHNSON Mother: Ann __?__ |
| James is said to have married Ms. GARNET in 1846 in Christian Co., KY, but clearly he did not because he is living with his first wife, Sarah, in the 1850 Census. I have yet to find a second marriage record for him. |
| Wife-2: Mary Elizabeth GARNET / GARNETT
Other Spouse: Dr. James A. LINDSAY Father: Lewis GARNET / GARNETT Mother: Elizabeth GRIMES |
