He is named executor in the will of his father, Daniel McCray, dated 1 Mar 1819 (p. 23). 9. Philip Roger McCray. 1993. McCrays of America. 2nd ed. Heritage Books, Bowie, MD. Says Henry moved to Davidson [now Williamson] Co., TN, ca. 1795, then back to Washington Co., TN, by 1806, based on land transactions. But Henry was married in 1796 in Washington Co., TN. These early pioneers did a lot of speculating in land, land they didn't necessarily live on. I'd prefer to deduce Henry's whereabouts based on the tax rolls. 10.
