Mary L. (STRAUB) McCAUSELAND is the widow of our subject's son, Thomas H.B. McCAUSLAND.  Nancy's surname is not McCAUSELAND, it's STRAUB.  Mary Lucetta's mother, Nancy (CUPP) STRAUB was born in OH, but her parents were born in PA.  Jacob may be Mary's brother-in-law, John Jacob Isaac E. McCAUSLAND, except that his birthdate is off one year and his parent's birthplaces are wrong; then again, similar mistakes were made with Bess and Nancy.
