Sources:

1.  1800 Census Index (online at GenealogyLibrary.com):
1800 Tax List Mann, Robert Lincoln Co. KY
This is the only Robert MANN/MAN in KY in 1800, at least the only one in this database.

2.  1810 Census Index (online at GenealogyLibrary.com):  Based on this database, the only Robert MANN/MAN in KY is in Cumberland Co., and for reasons obvious in the next source, I do not believe him to be the above Robert MANN.  The 1810 Census of TN was lost/destroyed for all but two counties (Rutherford and Grainger), so if Robert is in the Red River region of TN, we cannot expect him to turn up in the census.

3.  1820 Census Index (online at GenealogyLibrary.com):  Based on this database, the only Robert MANN/MAN in KY is in Cumberland Co., but given the appearance of an elder Robert MANN in the more likely location of Montgomery Co., TN (adjacent to Todd Co., KY, the domicile of his alleged brothers), I believe the TN Robert MANN to be the subject of this family group sheet.
Mann, Robert TN Montgomery Co. p. 1 010101-20110
These data indicate:
No. & Sex  Age Class Therefore Born Individuals Inferred
1 male 10-15 1804-1810 = Son B
1 male 19-25* 1794-1801 = Son A
1 male 45 or over in or bef. 1775 = Robert
2 female 9 or under 1810-1820 = Daughter C
= Daughter B
1 female 16-25 1794-1804 = Daughter A
1 female 26-44 1775-1794 = Wife
*In the 1820 Census, the third column is age class 16-18 and the fourth column is age class 16-25; therefore, any individual in column three is duplicated in column four.  By subtracting the number in column three from the number in column four, you can create an age class "19-25."

4.  1830 Census Index (online at GenealogyLibrary.com):  Based on this database, there are no Robert MANN/MANs in KY in 1830.
Mann, Robert TN Robertson Co. p. 4
I've no proof this is the same Robert MANN as the one in Montgomery Co. in 1820, but Robertson Co. is adjacent to Montgomery Co. (and Todd Co.).

5.  1840 KY Census Index (online at GenealogyLibrary.com):  Based on this database, there are no Robert MANN/MANs in KY or in TN in 1840.  I think we can consider him deceased.

6.  Jordan R. Dodd, ed.  1993.  Virginia / Kentucky / Tennessee / North Carolina Marriages:  Early to 1850.  Liahona Research, Orem, UT (Broderbund CD-229):
Mann, Robert Bass, Rebecca 15 Mar 1792 Halifax Co., VA
Mann, Robert Bevill, Mary 15 Nov 1795 Charlotte Co., VA
Mann, Robert McMullin, Rachel 18 Nov 1796 Orange Co., NC
Given that Charles MANN, Robert's probably father, was in Lincoln Co., KY, by 1790, none of these three marriages is probably the above Robert MANN.  Still, these are the only pre-1800 Robert MANN marriages in this database and, perhaps, Charles MANN was not his father.
