1. 1800 Census Index (online at GenealogyLibrary.com):
2. 1810 Census Index (online at GenealogyLibrary.com): Based on this database, the only Robert MANN/MAN in KY is in Cumberland Co., and for reasons obvious in the next source, I do not believe him to be the above Robert MANN. The 1810 Census of TN was lost/destroyed for all but two counties (Rutherford and Grainger), so if Robert is in the Red River region of TN, we cannot expect him to turn up in the census. 3. 1820 Census Index (online at GenealogyLibrary.com): Based on this database, the only Robert MANN/MAN in KY is in Cumberland Co., but given the appearance of an elder Robert MANN in the more likely location of Montgomery Co., TN (adjacent to Todd Co., KY, the domicile of his alleged brothers), I believe the TN Robert MANN to be the subject of this family group sheet.
4. 1830 Census Index (online at GenealogyLibrary.com): Based on this database, there are no Robert MANN/MANs in KY in 1830.
5. 1840 KY Census Index (online at GenealogyLibrary.com): Based on this database, there are no Robert MANN/MANs in KY or in TN in 1840. I think we can consider him deceased. 6. Jordan R.
