As expected, Jesse disappears from the Christian Co. Tax Rolls when Todd
Co. is formed in 1820.

On the motion of Joseph Hopson ordered that Jesse Mann (Maun?)
and Reuben Maun be bound as an apprentice to Col. Joseph Hopson
until they arrive to the full age of 21 years and that said Joseph Hopson
enter into an indenture with the clerk of this Court against the next term,
Jesse
Maun is now about years old and Reubin Maun is about nine years
old. |
I didn't leave out Jesse's age, it wasn't in the book. Is this the
same Jesse, the subject of this page who marries just five years later?
