| Comment:
The Nimrod LONG who is the brother of Maj. Gabriel LONG, Sr., (i.e., uncle to the above Nimrod) is also said to have d. 16 Jan 1816 and to have married Rosa FOSTER. Obviously, one of the entries is in error. Given that Nimrod married Rosa in 1808, I'm inclined to believe that it is this Nimrod who married Rosa, not the older uncle, who would have been 40-60 years old in 1808. |
