These data indicate:
No. & Sex Age Class Therefore Born Individuals Inferred
1 male 4 or under 1835-1840 = Son B? John's son?
1 male 5-9 1830-1835 = Son A? John's son?
1 male 20-29 1810-1820 = Americus? (b. 1813/4)
2 males 30-39 1800-1810 = Gabriel (b. 1808/9)
= John? (b. 1806-10)
1 female 4 or under 1835-1840 = Ann? (b. 1833/4)
1 female 10-14 1825-1830 = John's child?
1 female 20-29 1810-1820 = Martha (b. 1815)
1 female 30-39 1800-1810 = John's wife?
This record is very hard to figure; it would be a miracle if I've got it right.  John is Gabriel's older brother; Americus is his younger half-brother, who is living with them in the 1850 Census.  Neither John nor Americus appear in the 1840 census as heads-of-households.  The older female could be John's wife, and the older children theirs. Then again, if John is the older brother, why isn't he head-of-household?  I give up...  Ann is in the wrong age category, either that or her age in the 1850 Census is wrong.
