Susan's age has to be a mistake — or did he really marry a 12-year-old girl?!  Or is Susan his sister, and our subject is not the William who married Susan WILLIS in 1842?  Maxwell, James, and Widow Ann (HOPSON) HOLMAN are almost certainly William's siblings.  Living four doors down from Richard D. BRADLEY.
