ECCARIUS is the Latinized form of the German surname, ECKHARDT.

WARNING:  I have no proof that Valentine is George & Margarets' son, but given the rarity of the surname and the fact that their son, John, named a daughter, Jannette, a connection to Valentine & Janette (DIDDLEBAUGH) ECCARIUS, also of Cessna Twp., Hardin Co., OH, seems highly likely.
