Wife-1:  Ms. __?__
Marriage-2:  6 Feb 1855, Crawford Co., OH
Wife-2:  Caroline FETTER  [may not be her maiden name]
Birth:  1807, Hesse-Darmstadt

Child with Wife-1 — born in OH :
1.  Eva / Eve E. DIDDLEBAUGH, b. 1847/8
Child with Caroline FETTER — born in Crawford Co., OH:
2.  Eoaine? DIDDLEBAUGH, b. 1855/6

Given her age, Caroline was just barely biologically able to be the mother of this child, and it's not surprising that she had no more.

2.  1860 Census Images (online at Ancestry.com; Image #481 of 612):  Broken Sword P.O., Holmes Twp., Crawford Co., OH, pp. 241A-241B, PN 41-42, 300/291, enumerated 12 Jun 1860 (extracted by Diana Gale Matthiesen):
Henry Tettlebaugh 52 m   Farmer 1200 250 Saxony
Caroline 52 f         Hesse
[next page]
Eve Tettlebaugh 12 f         Ohio
Amos Frolich 10 m         Ohio
As Henry and Caroline have only been married five years, Eve would have to be Henry's child from a previous marriage.  But where is the other daughter, the one who shows up in the 1870 census?  I would have guessed Amos to be a child of Caroline's earlier marriage, except she married with surname FETTER.  Listed six households down from Jacob FROLICH's family.

3.  1870 Census Images (online at Ancestry.com; Image #5 of 40):  Holmes Twp., Crawford Co., OH, p. 415A, PN5, enumerated 13 Jul 1870 (extracted by Diana Gale Matthiesen):

Where was Eoaine in 1860?  Is she really their daughter?  Edward's and Eva's ages seem to be interchanged (see them in 1880).  And why is Charlie listed after Wilhelm?  I've seen more anomalies with this census enumerator than any other I can remember.
