Marriage license record of Charles Dellinger and Lillian Straub says that they were md. by a JP in East Aurora (Erie Co.) NY Oct. 6, 1908.  (Although they are also definitely in the St. Mary's Church records in November 1908.) Charles stated that he was NOT a widower, that this was to be his 2nd marriage, and that he had been divorced Nov. 20, 1898 (perhaps 1893, which would correlate with the "married 6 years" comment in the 1900 census). Marriage license record of Charles Dellinger and Florence M. Shearing (married May 14, 1913): Charles stated that he was a widower, had not been divorced, and that this was to be his 4th marriage.
