2a.  Census Index:  U.S. Selected Counties, 1810 (Broderbund CD-313).  Please see my WARNING regarding use of this database (the numerical data have the genders switched).  [Yes, in this case, it makes no difference, as the numbers for both genders are the same, but I like to take every opportunity to warn people of the problems with this CD.]

2b.  1810 Census Images (online at Ancestry.com; Image #57 of 66; extracted by Diana Gale Matthiesen):

1 female 9 or under 1800-1810 = Daughter A (b. 1809/10?)

7b.  1860 Census Images (online at the USGenWeb Census Project):  Prairie Twp., Randolph Co., MO, p. 827, 153/153, enumerated 13 June 1860 (extracted by Diana Gale Matthiesen):
Joseph Davis 78 M Farmer 6240 4600 Ky
Permilia  do 53 F       do
Morrtt? B? Davis 26 M do     Mo
Mary Davis 18 F       do
Leonard   do 20 M do     do
Thomas    do 24 M do     do
Mary appears to be "Morrtt's" wife.  If she were our subject's daughter, she should been last on the list.  Then again, Leonard and Thomas are out of order, so who knows?  Hopefully the 1850 Census will help clarify the situation.
