This obituary appears to be the source of the "legend" that Sarah (CLARK) DAVIS was buried in the family graveyard on a farm later owned by the Austins (henceforth called "Austin Cemetery") in Grundy Co., MO. But when the writer referred to Mary (THOMPSON) SPICKARD's grandmother, did he/she mean Mary's maternal grandmother or her paternal grandmother?
