No. & Sex  Age Class Therefore Born Individuals Inferred
1 male 19-25* 1794-1801 = Benoni (b. 1799)
1 female 16-25 1794-1804 = Magdalena (b. 1800)
1 person engaged in agriculture
*In the 1820 Census, the third column is age class 16-18 and the fourth column is age class 16-25; therefore, any individual in column three is duplicated in column four.  By subtracting the number in column three from the number in column four, you can create an age class "19-25."

p. 481
PORTAGE TOWNSHIP...
Jacob Deter and Benoni Culp took up their residence in Portage in 1836...  Benoni and Magdalene Culp came from Fairfield County, Ohio, in 1831, and settled in Findlay Township.  In 1836 they removed to Section 20, Portage ownship, where both spent the rest of their days.  They reared eight children, four of whom are residents of the county...
p. 482 Schools.— The first school in Portage Township was taught by Frederick S. Ankeny in the winter of 1836-37.  It was held in the wagon shop of Benoni Culp, on Section 20, and was attended by the Culps, Coopers, Edgingtons, and others.  Mr. Ankeny died during the term, and the school was closed.  The first schoolhouse was built near Pleasant Hill, about 1837.  The next year (1838) a building was put up in Section 31, on the Moorhead farm, and a school opened by Miss Rebecca Hedges...  The Coopers, Moorheads, Norrises, Culps and Orams went to this school...
p. 525
FINDLAY TOWNSHIP...
Daniel Andreck, John Bishop, John Harritt, Benoni Culp, and Jacob Feller all settled in the township in the summer and fall of 1831... Benoni Culp and family came from Fairfield County, Ohio, in September, 1831, and settled in the north west part of the township.  About five years afterward, he removed into
p. 526 Portage Township and died in 1841, leaving a widow and nine children.  One of his sons, Samuel, is a resident of Findlay.
