Thomas's mother was born in OH, not MD.  Living next door to Thomas's half-sister, Sarah (CORBIN) FEDDERS, and two doors down from Thomas's brother, George Washington CORBIN

Thomas appears not to have know his mother's birthplace (she was born in OH).   His mother's second husband, John SHERRY, was born in Ireland, which may have given Thomas the idea that his mother was from Ireland, too.
