Where did he get the Birth Date of 1750?  If it's correct, then the Mathuel CORBIN in the 1790 census has to be a son, not the father.

Is this Mathuel the father or a son of Mathuel?  Our subject is very old to still be alive and especially to have such young children.  On other records, the sixth column is the sum of the first five; in this case, I can't actually read the second digit in the sixth column, but it could be "0."  They are indexed as being in Edgecombe Twp., but I see nothing on the pages to indicate township, and all the Halifax records are in one group (i.e., no other townships or towns are given).  Listed four lines from William CORBIN.  Also in Halifax County: Charnel CORBIN.
