| Louis C. CORBIN
Mary O. LOVEALL |
| WARNING: There are some serious anomalies here. If the marriage date is solid, then "Maomi" has to be Mary O. LOVEALL. Then we have the discrepancies in ages, for both of them, and Arthur's birthplace in MO. If Arthur is ten years old in 1860, he technically should have been born before 1 Jun 1850 and should have appeared in the 1850 census, otherwise he would be only nine years old in 1860. And how did he get born in MO? They were in KY at least up through September of 1850. Everything here argues for Louis having had two wives and for Arthur having been Mary's child from her prior marriage. So the big question is: how solid is the marriage date? |
