Vitalis's death certificate says he was born in Doddridge, but was the informant (his son, Frank) correct?

VA), son of James & Lucinda (CORBIN) CORBIN of Harrison Co., WV.  Susan PROUDFOOT (æ 12) is living in Barbour Co., VA [now WV] (p. 92B), with her parents, John PROUDFOOT (æ 62, b. VA) & Rebecca (æ 54, b. VA), plus siblings.

3.  1860 Census Every-Name-Index/Images (online at Ancestry.com):  can't find Lewis.  There are no CORBINs, at all, in Doddridge County.  Susan PROUDFOOT (æ 21, b. Va) is living in Barbour Co., WV (p. 105), with her widowed father, John PROUDFOOT (æ 72, b. Va; "Papist"), plus sibling.
