The one in VA is said to be our subject. Need to get the page, obviously.

Looks like the one in WV is still there. Our subject is said to be
in Grayson Co., VA, so one of the three records must be a mis-reading of
his name. Need to get the pages, obviously.

4. Email (27 Jul 2000) from Debbie (Carico) Green, excerpts
of which state:
| Wm D m. Catherine I. Cooper abt 1843 in (prob. Grayson but no records
found) this data is verified in the pension records of their son Martin
J. carico.
Caution: all of the records on Martin by other researchers have
confused him with another Martin Carico. The book "Unto the Hills" and
the "History of Wise Co." are WRONG...
Family Tree Maker, CD17 is also wrong with relation to Wm D and
the William on the CD. |
