Sherman James Carrico, 18, 1004 Gate City road, died Monday afternoon at Walter Reed Hospital,Washington, D.C., where he had been a patient since November 16.

He is urvived (sic) by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Audley L. Carrico; one brother, Wayne; and two sisters, Charlotte and Darline.

The body will be returned to Kingsport from Washinton.

Funeral arrangements will be announced later, Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home is in charge.
