Given that sons Isaac and James appear in Hardin Co. in the 1850 Census, I think we can safely say the pre-1843 "Hardin Co." locations would still be in Hardin Co. today.

8.  Homer E. Carrico.  1951.  "The Carrico Family." Filson Club Historical Quarterly 25:  217-252 (republ. 1991 as pp. 215-250 in Genealogy of Kentucky Families. Genealogical Publ. Co., Baltimore, MD; in 1997 as Broderbund CD-185).  [This article is known to contain errors; consult with caution.]  On p. 220, Homer says Felix "never married."  Apparently true, but it looks more like he died in childhood.  Homer also states he can't find Felix's death date.  Neither can I, but it looks like he is missing in the 1810 census, so I'm deducing that he died before 1810.
